Planning, ground preparation, soils, seeds sowing, planting, crop rotations and other seasonal tasks.

 

Sat 13th April                Fruit Growing

Planning, planting, pruning, care, harvesting, use and storing. Tree and bush fruit as well as strawberries.

Propagating herbs from seed and cuttings, planting, care, harvest and use.

 

Sat 11th May                Gardening with Children – New

Easy vegetables, flowers and other plants to grow with children, simple nature projects and more.

 

Sat 18th May                Design your own Garden – NewClann 007

Assessing, planning and designing your garden, taking into account all its challenges as well as design considerations like suitable plants, year-round colour, structure and materials.

 

Sat 7th Sep                   The Vegetable Garden in Autumn and Winter

Ground preparation for winter, soil fertility, seed sowing (green manure and winter vegetables), seed saving, planting and rotations.

 

Sat 21st Sep                 Year Round Growing in the Polytunnel

Ground preparation for winter, soil fertility, seed sowing (green manure and winter vegetables), seed saving, planting and rotations.

Courses run from 10am to 1pm and include tea and coffee. €25.00/course
